Bazaar and Exhibition Optimized to Accommodate UKM

At least 40 bazaars and exhibitions will enliven in five cities and Seribu Islands this year. 

They (UKM) really need market access to sell their products

Jakarta Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Trade (KUKMP) Head, Adi Ariantara stated that it is conducted to further facilitate the small and medium enterprises (UKM) in marketing their products.

"They (UKM) really need market access to sell their products. We'll help them," he expressed, Thursday (1/3).

Currently the coaching location (lokbin) and temporary shelter (loksem) are deemed unable to accommodate them. That is why bazaar and exhibition will be an alternative and breakthrough.

"19 lokbins are full already, including 233 loksems. So we plan to optimize bazaar and exhibition," he stressed.

He uttered that those who want to participate in this event would remain through curation stage. For each event, is targeted to recruit between 20-30 participants.

"Principally we want to give widest chance to all UKMs," he said.
